I don't recall all these characters from my time, but the main challenge I set for myself was to imbue the puppets with greater expressiveness and life. I have sought a balance between caricature and staying faithful to Jim Henson’s magnificent design (though I couldn't provide everyone with more forehead or skull space). I worked with loose, expressive strokes to capture the personalities of Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby, and the rest of the cast, focusing on conveying emotion through their gaze and mouth dynamics (which now feature cartoonish teeth).
